ALPES-MARITIMES MARATHON 2024: READY FOR THE START!
As every year since 2008, the Alpes-Maritimes Marathon between Nice and Cannes brings together runners from all over the world. More than 175,000 athletes from 70 nations have participated in this prestigious event.
The marathon will start on November 3rd at 8 AM at the Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice, and finish on the Cannes Croisette, in front of the Hotel Martinez.
THE PROPOSED RACES
- Marathon: A 42.195 km route along the Côte d’Azur, promising pure pleasure.
- 2 x 21.1 km: A duo race where each runner runs half of the marathon.
- Relay 1: Nice - Antibes
- Relay 2: Antibes - Cannes
- 20 km: A route ending at the Marina Baie des Anges in Villeneuve-Loubet.
- Marathon Relay: For teams of 3 to 6 runners, with 5 relay points.
- Handisport Race: Early start at 7:57 AM, with a specific ranking.
FUN FACT
The blue line on the ground indicates the optimal route. This 16th edition celebrates the iconic blue color of the Côte d’Azur.
LAST TRAINING
The Breakfast Run gathers between 200 and 300 participants for a final training on the Promenade des Anglais. Free and festive, it starts at the Hyatt Regency Palais de la Méditerranée for a 4 to 5 km route.
AFTER RACE
A reception with aperitif and local specialties tasting will be held at the Palais de la Méditerranée from 5 PM to 8 PM after the race, following last year's success.
REGISTRATION
Open to all, with age limits depending on the race. Bib prices start at 32 € for the 20 km, increasing with distance. Register early for the best rates.
